Bodrum Amphitheater (Bodrum Antique Theatre)

is one of the mysterious places of Bodrum. It dates back to the 4th century. One of the natural, preserved places of ancient Halicarnassus. It is one of the oldest and magnificent artistic stonework theaters of the ancient world. The view from here is also great at sunsets. The ancient theater, built before the Roman Imperial Age, has a capacity of 10,000 people. After the excavations, this area was presented as an open-air museum. Anqiue theatre, seats and stage have survived to the present day.

Just above the amphitheater on the hills, there are rock tombs belonging to the Roman and Hellenistic periods.
